The Distinguished Production Rationalizer Badge (Odznaka „Zasłużony Racjonalizator Produkcji”) was a Polish ministerial decoration established on 30 June 1949 and awarded by the competent minister on the motion of the Chief Director of the Central Board of the relevant branch of the national economy. Initially, it was awarded to recognize particular merit in innovation and the rationalization of production; from 1979, it was an honorary distinction awarded to individuals for particular merit in invention and rationalization, taking into account their professional achievements and activity as well as their social attitude, and to holders of the Production Rationalizer Badge for further achievements in the above-mentioned field.
The badge was worn on the right breast. It was shaped like a gilt six-rayed star, 35 mm in diameter, with the head of the miner Pstrowski on a square, red-enamelled field at the centre of the badge. The star was attached to a rectangular metal clasp, enamelled red and edged in gilt.
The badge was withdrawn on 26 January 1996, along with the Production Rationalizer Badge and the Distinguished for Invention and Rationalization Badge.
