The Honorary Badge “For Merit in Education” [Odznaka honorowa „Za zasługi dla oświaty”] was a Polish departmental decoration in the form of a single-class honorary badge, established on 25 January 1985.
It was awarded by the Minister of Education and Upbringing as an honorary distinction to individuals and social groups in recognition of their particular merits in activities benefiting schools and other educational institutions, and for assistance provided to teachers.
The badge was worn on the right side of the chest.
The decoration was abolished on 23 February 2000, along with a number of other decorations established during the period of the Polish People’s Republic.
