The Honorary Badge “For Merits in Construction” (Odznaka honorowa „Za zasługi dla budownictwa”) is a Polish ministerial decoration established on 30 November 1999 and awarded by the minister responsible for construction, planning and spatial development, and housing, as an honorary distinction to employees in architecture and construction for outstanding achievements in architecture and construction, and also to other persons for achievements or merits in this field. The badge has a single grade and may be awarded only once. It replaced the Honorary Badge “Meritorious for Construction and the Building Materials Industry” (Odznaka honorowa „Zasłużony dla Budownictwa i Przemysłu Materiałów Budowlanych”).
The badge is a round medal 30 mm in diameter, made of gold-coloured metal. In the centre is a bas-relief depicting part of a stylized brick wall. Above the bas-relief is the inscription “FOR MERITS IN CONSTRUCTION”. The medal is suspended from a hanger measuring 30 × 10 mm, shaped like a ribbon half covered in white enamel and half in red enamel.
