Odznaka honorowa "Zasłużony dla Województwa Podkarpackiego"

The Honorary Badge “Meritorious for the Podkarpackie Voivodeship” (Odznaka honorowa „Zasłużony dla Województwa Podkarpackiego”) is an honorary badge awarded to natural and legal persons who have rendered meritorious service to the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

The Honorary Badge “Meritorious for the Podkarpackie Voivodeship” was established by Resolution No. XXXI/341/01 of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Assembly in Rzeszów of 28 May 2001 and is governed by the provisions of Resolutions No. XLVIII/893/10 of 31 May 2010 and No. VII/143/15 of 27 April 2015 of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Assembly.

The badge may be awarded to natural persons, institutions, local-government units, social and professional organizations, and other legal persons whose overall professional, social and public activity, or the scope of their duties, makes an outstanding contribution to the development of Podkarpacie, the increase of its material and cultural wealth, and the broadly understood promotion of the voivodeship in Poland and abroad.

The badge may be awarded once, including to foreign nationals, and, in especially justified cases, posthumously.
