The “For Merit to the Customs Service of the Polish People’s Republic” Badge — a Polish ministerial civil award of the Polish People’s Republic period, an honorary badge awarded for outstanding merit in customs service.
The badge was established by Council of Ministers Resolution No. 96 of 22 April 1974. It had three classes: gold, silver and bronze. An order of the Minister of Foreign Trade and Maritime Economy of 27 April 1974 established the badge’s design and the rules and procedure for awarding it.
The resolution establishing the badge was repealed with effect from 4 June 2000 by the Council of Ministers’ regulation of 17 April 2000 establishing the “Meritorious for the Customs Service” Badge.
