The Honorary Badge “For a Meritorious ORMO Activist” [Odznaka honorowa „Zasłużonemu Działaczowi ORMO”], called the Special ORMO Badge until 1987, was a Polish ministerial decoration of the Polish People’s Republic, awarded to honor meritorious ORMO activists.
The badge has two versions: the early version is suspended from a hanger, while the later version has a ribbon.
The badge is gold-plated, circular, 32 mm in diameter, and suspended from a 40 mm ribbon with the following colors: two light-blue stripes on the sides (12 mm), two white stripes in the central part (5 mm), and a red stripe in the center (6 mm). The inscription “FOR A MERITORIOUS ACTIVIST / ORMO” appears on the badge. The inscription ORMO is located in the central part against a blue background.
The badge was abolished by the Act of 23 November 1989 on the Dissolution of the Citizens’ Militia Volunteer Reserve.
