The Exemplary Salesperson Badge [Odznaka „Wzorowego Sprzedawcy”] is a Polish ministerial decoration in the form of a badge, established by the Presidium of the Government of the Polish People’s Republic on 18 September 1954. It was awarded to salespeople, buffet attendants and waiters. It was awarded in three grades: gold, silver and bronze.
The badge was shaped as a round plaque (30 mm in diameter) depicting the winged cap of the god Hermes and two winding snakes, against a background of a factory and a sheaf of grain. A safety pin or screw for fastening it to clothing was attached to the reverse.
The badge was abolished by a resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Third Polish Republic of 10 April 1996.
