The Victory Medal is a Portuguese military medal established on 15 July 1919. The Allies agreed to create this medal after their victory in the First World War; the ribbon was identical for all countries, while each country was responsible for designing the insignia.
The Portuguese Victory Medal was designed by the sculptor João da Silva (1880–1960).
