The Carabobo Star Decoration (Condecoración Estrella de Carabobo) is a Venezuelan military decoration established to reward members of the Venezuelan Army who distinguish themselves through outstanding service. It may be conferred on other members of different branches of the Armed Forces as well as on civilians, and is presented in a single class.
It consists of a silver-colored star with arms of four different lengths and 32 points at regular intervals. The two longest appear four times each, the third-longest eight times, and the shortest arms are between each of the others. The arms are superimposed over three concentric rings around a central medallion with decorated edges.
On the obverse, this medallion bears the coat of arms of the Venezuelan Army, and on the reverse is inscribed “Estrella de Carabobo.” The upper arm is pierced by a hole used to suspend it from a chain or collar.
