The Summan Cross (Summan risti) is a commemorative cross for soldiers who fought on the Finnish side in the Winter War in the Summa area.
Every Finnish citizen or foreigner who fought honorably in 1939–1940 in the Summa sector of the Karelian Isthmus is entitled to receive the cross. It may also be awarded to another person considered eligible to receive it. The crosses are individually numbered, and the distributor keeps a list of their recipients.
The cross was initially distributed by a committee appointed for that purpose. Later, the task was transferred to the board of the Finnish Disabled War Veterans Association.
