The Medal of Public Service (نوط الخدمة العامة) is one of the Iraqi military medals that remains in use to this day. It is awarded to military personnel and civilians who take part in actual operations deemed worthy by the Minister of Defense, and in wartime in the Iraqi state. It is one of the few medals that were not abolished in Iraq after 2003. There are several versions of this medal: royal and republican.
