Lietuvos Respublikos krašto apsaugos sistemos medalis "Už nuopelnus"

The Medal of Merit of the National Defence System of the Republic of Lithuania (Lithuanian: Lietuvos Respublikos krašto apsaugos sistemos medalis „Už nuopelnus”) is a Lithuanian military departmental decoration.

It is the highest decoration of the National Defence System of the Republic of Lithuania and is awarded for outstanding merits in the development and strengthening of the country's defence, as well as for long-term work and military service.

The medal may be awarded to professional military service personnel, active reserve soldiers and, in exceptional cases, soldiers of foreign armies, for merits in the development and strengthening of the national defence system and its combat capability, as well as for merits in integrating the defence system with Euro-Atlantic structures (NATO).
