The Klaipėda Liberation Medal (Lithuanian: Klaipėdos išvadavimo medalis) is a Lithuanian medal considered a decoration of the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union and the Supreme Committee for the Liberation of Lithuania Minor (Little Lithuania). It was later recognized by the authorities of the Republic of Lithuania, and military personnel were permitted to wear it alongside other official decorations.
It was divided into two grades: silver (for senior-ranking military personnel, the leadership of the uprising and members of the aforementioned committee) and bronze (for the remaining participants).
The medal was intended to be presented on the occasion of the second anniversary of the occupation of the Klaipėda Region by Lithuanian troops in January 1923.
The medal was shield-shaped, measuring 32 × 55 mm, with an image of the Vytis Cross and an inscription along the side edges, “Supreme Committee for the Liberation of Lithuania Minor” (VYR. MAŽ. LIETUVOS GELBĖJIMO KOMITETAS), on the obverse. The reverse bears an image of a deer in front of a wall and a lighthouse behind it, with the inscription “KLAIPĖDA 15 JANUARY 1923” (KLAIPĖDA 1923 m. SAUSIO 15. d.) along the side edges.
