The Honor Cross for the Surviving Dependents of German Spanish Fighters (Ehrenkreuz für Hinterbliebene deutscher Spanienkämpfer) was instituted by decree of Adolf Hitler on April 14, 1939, and awarded to the next of kin of German volunteers in the Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War.
