The Commemorative Medal for Care of Internees 1914–1918 (Herinneringsmedaille voor de Zorg voor Geïnterneerden 1914-1918) is a Danish award. It is an honorary badge of the Danish Red Cross that was recognized by the Danish government and could be accepted and worn by Danes.
The care of military personnel from the belligerent parties Germany and the United Kingdom who were interned in Denmark was organized by the Danish Red Cross. Military personnel from belligerent countries were interned in neutral Denmark, in accordance with the rules of the law of war, until the end of hostilities.
The insignia is a red-enameled Geneva cross within a heavy silver wreath. The die was reused in 1953 for the Red Cross Medal Commemorating the Exchange of Prisoners of War in 1953.
