The Medal for Good Service in the Royal Danish Air Force is a Danish decoration awarded to Air Force employees who complete 25 years of service with impeccable conduct. The medal was established on 11 March 1953, and is therefore awarded only on that date each year.
The medal is made of silver, is round, and bears King Frederik IX’s monogram with the inscriptions “11 March 1953” and “For Good Service.” The reverse is inscribed with the word “Fortjent” (“Deserved”), surrounded by an oak-leaf wreath. It is suspended from a red cross-ribbon with a white stripe in the middle. After a total of forty years of service, a gold oak leaf is added to the cross-ribbon.
