The Commemorative Medal for the 75th Birthday of Prince Henrik (Danish: Erindringsmedaillen i anledning af Hans Kongelige Højhed Prinsgemalens 75 års fødselsdag) is a Danish award. The commemorative medal was awarded on 11 June 2009, on the day of Prince Henrik’s celebration, to the royal family, guests and royal household. According to the Master of Ceremonies, “approximately 200 medals” were awarded. Recipients may place the letters Em.11.juni.2009 after their names.
The round silver medal is the standard issue and bears the head of Queen Margrethe of Denmark and the inscription MARGARETHA II REGINA DANIÆ. The reverse bears a monogram with four crowns and the dates of the Prince Consort’s birth and seventieth birthday.
The medal is worn on the left breast from a ribbon folded into a pentagon, or as a bow on the left shoulder. A silver crowned letter H is pinned to the ribbon. The miniature ribbon bar bears an H, but the crown is omitted.
