The Mine Clearance Medal (Mrm.) is a Finnish medal of merit. It was established by presidential decree on 17 September 1993. It was designed by heraldic artist and retired lieutenant colonel Juhani Toukonen.
The medal may be awarded to a person who served in an official mine-clearance organization or in a clearance or engineer unit in Northern Finland from 5 September 1944 to 14 September 1952, or in the Gulf of Finland from 16 September 1944 to 17 July 1950. In 1994, the number of such people was estimated at approximately 6,000.
The medal is circular and matte, with a diameter of 31 mm. It is made of tombac. The obverse depicts a mine and a group of three lightning bolts. The central part of the medal and the lightning bolts are polished, and the years 1944–1952 appear at the bottom of the medal. The medal is accompanied by a 32 mm-wide black ribbon with a 12 mm-wide red stripe in the middle and white stripes one millimetre wide at the centre and along the edges.
The first Mine Clearance Medals were awarded in October 1994 to 22 veterans who had cleared mines in the Gulf of Finland as conscripts in 1947.
