The Star of Yudha Dharma (Bintang Yudha Dharma) is a mark of honor awarded by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to honor a person for meritorious service whose benefits are truly felt by the nation and state. The star was officially established in 1971. It ranks one level above the Star of Bhayangkara, the Star of Kartika Eka Paksi, the Star of Jalasena, and the Star of Swa Bhuwana Paksa.
The Star of Yudha Dharma is awarded to those who have devoted themselves beyond and above the call of duty in carrying out tasks of guidance and development, and who have produced work whose benefits are truly felt by the government and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The star may be awarded to Indonesian National Armed Forces personnel, civil servants of the Ministry of Defense, civil servants of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, or civilians who meet the requirements. As the person who awards the honor, the President of Indonesia is automatically the holder of its first class, the Star of Yudha Dharma, First Class.
