The Order of the Knight's Sword [Орден витешког мача] was a decoration of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro, in three classes.
The order was established on 4 December 1998 with the adoption of the Law on Decorations of the FRY. It had three classes and was awarded for “exceptional merits and deeds in the fields of defence and security”.
It was awarded by the President of the Republic, and later by the President of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro. It was awarded most frequently after NATO's aggression against the FRY, in June 1999.
