Order of Vuk Karadžić

The Order of Vuk Karadžić [Орден Вука Караџића] was a decoration of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro, in three classes. The order was established on 4 December 1998 with the adoption of the Law on Decorations of the FRY. It had three classes and was awarded for “merits in the fields of art, education, and culture”. It was awarded by the President of the Republic, and later by the President of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro.
