The Long Service Medal (Satyalancana Kesetiaan) is an honor awarded by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces who have rendered exceptional service and served for several consecutive years. This honor was established in 1958. It was created to recognize members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces who have demonstrated courage and served loyally and diligently. The honor consists of four classes, based on length of service, with each class differing from the next by one windu (eight years).
