The Humanitarian Star (Bintang Kemanusiaan) is an honorary decoration awarded by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to honor a person for services in upholding the values of humanity, national justice, and human rights. The award was officially established in 2009. The star ranks immediately below the Mahaputera Star and has no classes.
The star is awarded to those who have rendered great service to the state and nation in upholding the values of humanity, justice, and human rights.
